About the partner

Live experience. Boxing scale.

Gold Star Promotions is a UK promotions and event management company founded by Spencer Brown. Its public work spans boxing, celebrity appearances, personality-led events, sponsorship, memorabilia and hospitality.

The business developed from corporate events and celebrity hospitality into a wider sporting and entertainment operation. Gold Star now holds named promotional roles on major international cards while Brown works directly across the management and advisory side of elite boxing.

Its operating idea is practical: build the occasion around the personality, connect audiences with the event and create commercial value that lasts beyond fight night.

Founder / Key person

Spencer Brown.

Spencer Brown is Tyson Fury’s personal manager and the founder of Gold Star Promotions. He entered boxing through corporate events and celebrity hospitality before securing a promoter’s licence with the British Boxing Board of Control. The distinction matters: Brown manages Fury; public reporting identifies Frank Warren and Queensberry as Fury’s promoter.

“This is a top-drawer, exciting heavyweight clash with plenty of jeopardy.”

The relationship chronology

Trust widened the remit.

Never-Before and Gold Star did not meet at the height of the Saudi boxing boom. The relationship grew from Nav Salimian’s early work around Tyson Fury, then expanded as the sport’s centre of gravity moved into a new global era.

01

Early trust around Fury

The foundation was built through work around Tyson Fury long before the current scale of Riyadh Season boxing. That history created familiarity between Nav, Spencer and the wider team, with the relationship developing through delivery rather than a single campaign.

02

A wider boxing table

As Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority expanded its international boxing programme, Brown and Gold Star became increasingly active across fighter management, advisory work and major cards. BoxingScene has described Brown as a close ally of Turki Alalshikh, while public interviews show him discussing possible heavyweight matchups. Sources identify Brown as manager or advisor to Joseph Parker, Agit Kabayel, Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller and Hamzah Sheeraz.

03

Always-on digital work

Never-Before now manages the Gold Star Promotions and Spencer Brown social channels, supports the distribution of official event assets, and captures original content on location. The work has included repeated delivery in Saudi Arabia and New York, connecting the live-event room to the digital audience.

A seat at the table.

The relationship operates close to the people shaping the modern heavyweight era. Brown’s public role across management and major events has placed Gold Star inside the conversations, introductions and practical decisions that move the calendar forward.
