Time Is Currency: Jeremy Piven × Kettle Kids

How Never-Before brought Jeremy Piven into Kettle Kids’ London watch world through commercial strategy, creative input, production logistics and talent liaison.

When a commercial collaboration works, the talent does not feel placed into a brand world. The talent feels as if they have always belonged there. That was the central opportunity behind Jeremy Piven’s campaign with Kettle Kids: bringing one of television’s most recognisable agents into London watch culture without turning the work into an imitation of Ari Gold.

The relationship between Jeremy and Never-Before began in London in 2021. Jeremy’s first advertised London stand-up dates took place at Leicester Square Theatre on 15 and 16 October. Never-Before was invited to attend, beginning a relationship that would later move from live entertainment into commercial production, major sporting events and international cultural moments.

The brief

Kettle Kids wanted internationally recognised talent for a film concept capable of connecting luxury watches with entertainment and contemporary culture. The brand had already built its reputation around more than retail. Its founders, Harvey and Jacob Hutson, had developed a community-led business from early Instagram trading and meetings with collectors into an Old Bond Street destination.

Never-Before worked with the Kettle Kids team and Shak Dan Othman of Halitta Haus to shape the opportunity. Jeremy brought the necessary authority, timing and cultural recognition. Just as importantly, he understood how to make the premise entertaining.

Why Jeremy

Jeremy’s performance as Ari Gold in Entourage changed the way a generation pictured the Hollywood agent: fast, demanding, persuasive and impossible to ignore. The Kettle Kids concept could use that energy without simply recreating the character.

The creative challenge was one of calibration. Too little personality and the collaboration would feel like a conventional endorsement. Too much imitation and it would become a sketch about a role Jeremy had already mastered. The finished film allowed him to carry the authority and comic velocity audiences recognised while remaining Jeremy Piven inside the Kettle Kids world.

From agreement to set

A talent-led campaign is not complete when the contract is signed. It succeeds when the commercial terms, creative idea, production plan and talent experience remain aligned all the way through delivery.

Never-Before’s role therefore extended across the full working chain. The agency helped commercially bring Jeremy into the project, contributed to the creative conversation, managed the UK logistics that brought him to set, supported the production through direct talent liaison and followed the work through to the agreed digital delivery.

Built around people

The public production credit identifies Joel Claudio as art director, Radhika Muthanna as photographer, Halitta Haus as agency, Shak Dan Othman as executive producer and Nirvana Henry as producer. It also credits Josh Kogbodoku for styling and Amie Harfield for makeup, alongside Jeremy as talent.

Those credits matter. Strong cultural work rarely comes from a single person or a single transaction. It comes from specialists trusting one another, understanding their part and keeping the same creative objective in view.

The wider relationship

The Kettle Kids campaign sits inside a longer relationship rather than standing alone. Jeremy has remained connected to Never-Before through London, the Joy Awards in Riyadh and major boxing occasions. At Eubank Jr versus Benn I in April 2025, Mike Heller of Talent Resources personally appointed Never-Before to support Jeremy during his London stay. The remit included transport, accreditation, event access and talent liaison.

That continuity is the real case study. A campaign may last a day on set, but trusted talent relationships are built across years, locations and different kinds of work.

What the campaign demonstrates

For brands, the lesson is not simply to book the most famous person available. The useful question is whether the talent can add meaning to the brand’s existing world. Jeremy brought dramatic authority, humour and a long-established association with ambition and deal-making. Kettle Kids brought a credible collector community, luxury-watch expertise and a London identity. The creative opportunity existed in the overlap.

For Never-Before, the project demonstrates the agency’s 360 model in practice. Talent management, commercial partnership development and digital delivery were not separate stages handed between disconnected teams. They were one joined-up process built around the relationship.
